Let's talk research! Join Lauren Powell and Karen Verderame from Penn Vet as they introduce an all-new assessment poised to transform the field of humane education with data collection. Penn Vet Shelter Medicine and Community Engagement is conducting a study to test the reliability and validity of two new scales developed to measure student knowledge regarding animal welfare and empathy towards animals and investigate the impact of humane education programs on student attitudes and empathy towards animals. We would like to invite the APHE community to collaborate to test these scales. Together, we can assess the profound impacts of the tireless work being done in the field of humane education!
