Behavior is Behavior: Parallels in Behavior Theory and Education with Micah McKechnie, CPDT-KA from East Bay SPCA
There is a saying in the animal behavior field, "behavior is behavior", referring to the fact that the science of behavior is applicable to all living beings- whether the learner is canine, feline, equine, amphibian, reptilian- or human. In collaborating with education professionals, the number of lightbulbs that go off when describing both the practices and shared challenges of our respective industries are both fascinating and energizing. In this session, we will take a look at how to utilize the science of behavior to create behavior plans for humans and animal learners alike!.
