"Learning Beyond our Facility's Walls"
Erin Dams, Community Engagement Coordinator at Roanoke Valley SPCA
Join us to learn about creative ways to bring your education programs into the community and build new partnerships along the way. This presentation will introduce you to unique event and partnership ideas, including educational bar trivia nights, pet-sitting classes at the library, "AdvoCAT Chats" (on TNR, fostering neonatal kittens, and more) at a local coffee shop, and programs to empower teens to explore careers in animal care through field trips and hands-on experience.
