The Outdoor Cat:
Science and Policy from a Global Perspective
December 3-4, 2012
Marina del Rey Marriott
Marina del Rey, California

This is the second conference of the Humane Society Institute for Science and Policy (HSISP).

The goal of the conference is to bring together scientists, technical experts, educators, and others with an interest in the issues tied to the presence of free-roaming, abandoned, and outdoor cat populations in our world, and to take the measure of contemporary scholarship with the goal of forging a stronger union between knowledge, evidence, insight, and policy.

The subject of free-roaming, abandoned, and outdoor cat populations in and around human communities and in other settings has divided stakeholders within the humane, conservation, and scientific communities for decades.

Here is a link to the conference site and to the website of the HSISP, a program of The Humane Society of the United States.

Registration for this event is just $135.00.
