2004

Hobbies/Special Area(s) of Interest
I enjoy reading, both for casual entertainment and for staying up-to-date on educational trends,  learning about animal protection and foster/adoption issues, and of course spending time with my husband and dogs. I am also pursuing my Pets for Life certification.

I Share My Home With:
My husband Jason and our furry children (all dogs), Duke, Sapphire, Stormy, Trixie, Angel, Kasey, and Mimi. (And the occasional squirrel or rabbit while they are being rehabbed.)

I Chose to Work in Humane Education Because:
Education in general can provide a person with the power and tools to make positive change in his or her society and to gain new experiences and ideas. Humane education specifically provides an area of interest for most learners and this helps to keep them engaged in activities while connecting people, animals, and the planet while also building upon positive traits and providing for experiential learning and service.
