I Share My Home With:
My husband, 3 dogs (all Shepherd mixed breeds), 2 adopted from the Humane Society where I work and 1 from a local rescue agency. And 1 cat, Peyo, rescued from a local French Restaurant. Our animals keep us busy doing laundry, vacuuming, enrolling in agility and trick classes, getting out of the house and keeping us sane and close to nature.

I Chose to Work in Humane Education Because:
I
love working on behalf of all animals and the environment. I feel very blessed to be able to educate children, teens, families and my community about how and why it is so important to be a more humane society and practice humane caring acts throughout our daily lives. Giving a voice to the animals who can’t speak on their behalf is an honor and working with children and teens brings me so much joy as they help keep me young and hopeful about the future and allows me to be part of the solution and active in making this world a better place.
